Great burger. This is a mid range casual sit down spot for burgers, fries and shakes that are a level up from your average chipper or fast food. Full table service and the staff was very friendly. We were there on a weekend during one of the very first opening days (weren’t serving alcohol yet). They were still finding their footing, but overall the experience was good and I’m sure even better now. I’ll definitely return.
We recently visited Bó Burgers - Midleton. The restaurant itself is beautiful — spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed, with a family-friendly feel.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the wait time. We were dining with two children, and their food took about an hour to arrive. While starters came out earlier, the kids hadn’t ordered any, and waiting that long was simply too much.
After such a long wait, it was hard to enjoy the meal. The burger meat was a bit under-seasoned for my taste, although the sweet potato fries were very good. Because of the long delay, we wouldn’t return.
Pretty disappointing.
Went on a Friday evening, the place was half empty and we were waiting ages to be seated. When we were finally seated, we were waiting another 10/15 mins before they took our order. So much staff just standing around (4?!?), standing by a coffee machine doing nothing, chatting etc. Hire one adult!!! It’s just a load of kids, probably on minimum wage, no wonder they don’t care.
The girl that took our order was very friendly but very inexperienced. Asked for seasalt on our chips and she was very confused. Asked for no cream on one of the milkshakes, and they mixed them up.
The burger was incredibly messy and hard to eat (had to use a knife and fork), and the tenders were so hard??
Wouldn’t go back unfortunately
Hidden gem in Midleton. The service was friendly and helpful.
Food was delicious, very well cooked burgers, and yummy sides.
They have a variety of chips.
The decoration is so inviting and gives vibes of sustainability.
It is great to come with family and friends.
Was seated quickly and given menus, when I asked what the fish allergen was in the burger the waitress checked with the kitchen, she came back and told me that the chef said it was a miss print. (Should have left at this stage)
Ordered a burger each, and one chip (there was two of us) both burgers were awful, neither of us finished anything. I count not tast the different things in my burger is just tasted like mush.
Went to the counter to pay,I was asked if everything was OK. I said no it was awful, the waiter laughed at me.
The music is too loud to talk over. I did not enjoy this experience once I will not be back.
It was expensive at €30 for a plain beef burger, a veggie burger and 1 chip.
